Tap to Speak — recommended
- Select the two conversation languages, switch to Conversation, and tap START. Wait for READY — TAP A SPEAKER after preparation completes.
- The person who will speak next taps that participant/language panel once. When it shows LISTENING / SPEAK NOW, speak naturally; normal pauses do not end the turn.
- When that person is finished, tap the SAME participant panel again. This FINISH action stops that input, translates the completed turn, displays the translation and, when translated audio is enabled, speaks it for the other participant.
- The other participant begins only after the translation has been delivered and that participant panel is ready. Tap that panel once, wait for LISTENING / SPEAK NOW, and then reply.
- For a direct handoff, the current speaker can tap the OTHER participant panel instead of tapping the current panel again. That one tap finishes the current turn, translates it, and hands control to the other participant.
- If translated audio is playing, the next participant should wait until playback finishes and LISTENING / SPEAK NOW appears before speaking. Continue alternating panels for each turn; tap STOP to end the session.
